Memorial Day

Andrew and I, along with some friends, went to Driggs, Idaho on Memorial Day.  We sat by a river and had a fancy picnic lunch (complete with Martinelli's), walked around town, and drove through the nice neighborhoods.  It was such a cute little town in a beautiful part of Idaho.

When we got back to Rexburg we headed to my FAVORITE place: Karie Anne's.  For those of you who don't know, Karie Anne's is a little snow-cone place that has this amazing thing called a gelati.  It's a layer of shaved ice, then custard, then shaved ice.  It. is. so. good.  I used Andrew's leftover cup for these flowers or weeds or whatever they were, found in a field close by.

I am so thankful for all the service men and women that dedicated their lives to fight for this country.  I live in such a great country, which wouldn't be possible without those that serve our country.  Thank you.

Love, Emily
